Blakesburg; born in Shelby County, Kentucky in 1831; came to Wapello County, Iowa in 1868; since engaged in farming and raising Norman Horses. Married SOPHIA J HAM in 1851; she was born in Putnam County, Indiana, in 1832; have four children; HORACE G; ISAAC N; REBECCA E; SELERIA F. MR. JONES was President of School Board for two years, School Director one year, and Road Supervicor one year. Owns 174 acres, valued at $20 per acre. Members of Christians Church; Liberal. (WILLIAM may be the brother or son of my Gr-Gr Grandfather, OLIVER MORGAN JONES
