Ida Morris Lackey.

Ida Morris Lackey was born near Troy, Iowa, Sept. 11, 1856. She was married Sept. 11, 1878, to George Lackey.

Four children came to bless this home, viz. Grace, Marion, Charlie, and Hazel, three of whom survive, Grace having passed away eight years ago. She also leaves a husband, a mother, and one brother, Frank Morris, of Morrill, Nebraska.

Most of her life was spent in Bonaparte until the last few years when she has resided in Ft. Madison, Iowa, where she departed this life May 5, 1908. Funeral services were held at Bonaparte Thursday, May 7. Rev. Field of the M.E. church of Ft. Madison officiating.

From this home a loving wife and mother hs been taken, always kind and thoughtful of others as a mother can be. May her soul rest in peace.
