Died. - At the residence, Monday afternoon, July 25, 1892, John A. Benheimer, aged 62 years, 5 months and 7 days, of consumption. Funeral Tuesday at 4 p.m., Rev. D. McMasters officiating.

Mr. Benheimer was born February 18, 1837, near Lancaster, Fairfield county, Ohio. Was married to Miss Melissa R. Beall, May 30, 1861, near Libertyville, Iowa. He was the father of seven children, one of whom passed beyond. All were present except son William, who was unable to be present, being too far west. Thus within the space of a year father and mother have been taken from the home.

In the death of Mr. Benheimer, Bonaparte loses an old settler, and being of a pleasant disposition had many friends who will miss him.

He had been a patient sufferer for a long time and death has freed him from the pain and sorrow of this world. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the community.
