Death of Mrs. Beeson.

Ann Hoelton Beeson was born in Circleville, O., May 2, 1821, and died at Farmington, Iowa, Nov. 23, 1892, aged 71 years six months and 31 days. She was married to George Beeson, May 26, 1846. Ten children were born to them, four of whom died in infancy. There remain four sons and two daughters with their father aged over 80 years to mourn their sad loss. Three of the children could not be present at her death and funeral, namely H. F. Beeson, of Coleman, Texas, B. P. Beeson, of Louisiana, Mo., and Mrs. Maggie Wolf of Chase, Kansas. Mother Beeson was converted while young and for more than 50 years has lived an exemplary Christian life. For more than a year she was only occasionally able to attend church, for nearly seven long weeks she was painfully prostrate upon the bed of affliction. But amid all this privation and suffering she manifested a Christian fortitude and patience that is rarely, if ever surpassed. She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, and a kind and peaceable neighbor, loved and respected by all who knew her. On Saturday the 26, her remains were taken to the M. E. church her place of worship, where in the midst of a large congregation of sympathizing friends and neighbors, appropriate funeral services were conducted by the Pastor J. W. Fraker. Thence in the Farmington cemetery, near by, she was peacefully laid to rest till the resurrection morn. May God sustain Farther Beeson in this hour of his sorriest grief, and may he sanctify this sad affliction to the salvation of every child and finally make them an unbroken family in heaven.
