Over 100 Years Old.

J. G. Delker departed this life at the residence of his son John, on the Zane farm, four miles east of Bonaparte, Thursday, July 27, 1893, and was buried Saturday, July 29th, aged 100 years, 3 months and 22 days. Funeral services were held at the German church by Rev. [blank space] and the remains were interred in the Steinmeyer cemetery. Mr. Delker, as far as heard from was the oldest living person in the state. He was sick but two or three days and suffered no pain. He was able to walk around all the time until Tuesday before his death.
