MRS. CATHARINE STEEL.
The deceased was born in Pennsylvania. Her maiden name was Catharine McKinsy. She was married to Henry Steel, June 15, 1856. The following spring they moved to Iowa, where they have resided ever since. She united with the church at Bonaparte in the spring of '61, and was a charter member of the Harrisburg church of which she was a good and faithful member until her decease, September 16, 1894. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and two daughters, two sons having gone ** before.
Funeral services were held at the house, conducted by Rev. Cooney, pastor of the Harrisburg church. His text was a portion of the 10th verse of the 23d chapter of Numbers: "Let me died the death of the righteous and let my last end be like this."
