OBITUARY

Died--At his home in Bonaparte Iowa July 10th, 1894, William Humphryes aged 81 yrs. 6 mo. 26 days.

Deceased was born in Portsmouth England Dec. 14 1812, moved from there to London England, where in Sept. 1834 he was married to Miss Hannah Beckingham, they came to the United States in May 1845 and settled in Iowa where they resided during the remainder of their lives; his wife died March 10th 1884.

Seven children were born to them four sons and three daughters three of the sons have died leaving three daughters and one son four brothers and one sister to mourn their loss, one brother and the sister reside in England. The funeral took place from the residence in Bonaparte July 12 1894 Rev. G. W. Barber of Eldon conducting the services.
