Monday forenoon of this week, George McElroy, residing in the village of Utica, who had been feeling well as usual, went out to milk his cow and while so engaged was taken with a severe pain in his arm which soon extended over the body. It became so severe that a doctor was called from Keosauqua but when the physician left an hour or so later he was apparently much better. however in a short time he became worse and died about an hour before noon. His age was about 50. He leaves to mourn his wife and one son. The funeral was at the Baptist church in Utica and burial was in Dibble cemetery.
