MISS MABEL DICKINSON.
OBITUARY SKETCH.Miss Mabel Dickinson was born at Rockville, Conn. Feb. 11, 1890, and died at Bonaparte, Iowa, July 19, 1904 having reached the age of 14 yrs., 5 months and 8 days.
The greater part of her life was spent at Woonsocket, Rhode Island, being in that place from 1891 to June 10 1902 when she came to Bonaparte and spent the rest of her life.
On the 8th day of April, 1903, when God was calling for members for his church the call seemed to come to her and true to her convictions she gave her hand to the Methodist church and on Dec. 13th of the same year was taken into full connection.
On Wednesday she complained of a pain [in] the back of the head and this grew worse in spite of the doctors skill until lock jaw was the result and in six days she was relieved of her pain for God had taken her.
During her short illness she suffered intense pain, but during all this time she was patient and cheerful, trying to do all she could for herself so as not to bother the others. She was pleased to have her friends call and tried to greet them with smiles. So with the Christian fortitude she bore the pain until death released her from it. She leaves a father and mother, ***r [probably four] brothers, one sister and many friends to mourn her departure.
