Darlene Ann Fraser, 53, of the Farmington and Bonaparte areа, died at 4:44 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at Unversity of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Born Jan 16, 1952 in Owatonna, Minn, she was the daughter of Sylvester and Dorothy Wallace Clausen. She married Keith Donald Fraser. They later divorced.

Survivors include one son, Dewey Fraser of Albert Lea, Minn.; one stepson, Keith Robert Fraser of Phoenix, one stepdaughter, Yvonn Fraser of Fort Madison, four brothers, David Clausen of Texas, Dennis Clausen and Gary Clausen, both of Albert Lea and Butch Hanson of Clarksgrove Minn: One sister, Joanne Carlson of Minnesota and special friend, Guy Simmons of Farmington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hofbauer Schmitz Link Funeral Home in Farmington, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Her body will be cremated following visitation. Burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington. The Rev. Larry Wallingford will officiate at the graveside service.

Hofbauer Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Farmington is in charge of arrangements.
