Kelly Ann Mercer was born April 12, 1973, and died on December 6, 2014, in Grass Valley, CA.

Kelly graduated from Mazama High School in Klamath Falls, OR, in 1990. She attended the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls and graduated with a degree in business office systems. In 1995, she moved to Grass Valley, CA. Her desire was to help hurting people feel better. She worked in Grass Valley and attended school obtaining a license in massage therapy. She then worked for the Ritz Carlton Hotel and Spa in Truckee, CA.

In 2012, she decided to pursue her goal of helping others by becoming a nurse. She became an RN in April of 2014, graduating from Carrington College in Reno, NV. She was currently working on her bachelors degree in nursing. Kelly loved learning new things and was an excellent student, taking various college classes from time to time, always excelling.

Kelly loved the Lord and knew Him as her personal Savior. She was a student of the Bible, attending many Bible studies over the years.

Kelly is survived by her parents, David and Carol Mercer of Farmington, and her brother, Robert Mercer, also of Farmington. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at SchmitzLynk Funeral Home in Farmington with Rev. Daniel Hemken officiating. Burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington.

Her body has been cremated. A memorial service was also held in Grass Valley, CA.
