Bessie M. Fritsinger.

Bessie M. Fritsinger was born in Mt. Hamill, Lee County, Iowa, May 29, 1888, the third daughter of a family of four children. Her father, John W. Fritsinger, one brother and two sisters all preceded her to the great beyond.

At the age of six years she moved with her mother to Bonaparte, Iowa and was married October 19, 1905, to Fred. J. Wiggenjost of Ft. Madison. To this union was born one daughter, now aged 19 months.

The subject of this sketch died at her home in Ft. Madison Sunday morning, July 31, aged 22 years, 2 months and 2 days, death resulting from a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband and daughter, Gertrude, her mother, Mrs. Vallie Thompson of Edina, Mo., and one brother and sister.

The funeral was held at the late residence August 1, Rev. Banker, pastor of the Santa Fe Avenue M. E. church officiating. Her mother was with her during her last illness.
