Salem, June 17--
The funeral services of Mrs. Ira Mitchell, Jr., were conducted by Rev. Rawley. Many could not gain admission on account of the multitude. Mrs. Mitchell, formerly Miss Green died shortly after arriving on a visit to friends in Kansas. She was universally respected and admired; to be her acquaintance was to be her friend.
