Ockenden-At his residence in Farmington township, March 28, 1882, Thomas Ockenden, aged 62 years.

Deceased was born in England, and came to this country in 1829. In 1848 he came to Iowa, where he resided till his death. Mr. Ockenden was unmarried and has not relatives in this section, with the exception of a cousin, Thos. Mithchell who faithfully attended him in his last illness. He was buried Wednesday at the Thompson graveyard.
