Mr. Jacob Boyer died at his residence on Vernon Prairie Saturday morning. He was about 71 years of age. Funeral sermon was preached in the M E church Vernon, by Rev. McCrary Sunday at 2 o'clock. The remains were interred in the Vernon cemetery.
