KEASLING - at his home near Bonaparte, Io., October 15, 1888, Frederick Keasling aged 71 years, 9 months and 13 days.

Deceased was born in Bavaria, Germany, on February 2, 1817. He was married to Miss Heckel in 1846. They left Germany April 10, 1848 and arrived in Burlington July 2, 1848. His first wife died at Farmington Io., July 27, 1849. On May 6, 1856 he was married to Miss Miller in Bonaparte, Io. He was the father of 8 children, 3 of whom preceded him to the grave. He leaves a devoted wife and 5 children to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Lutheran church. Deceased retired Sunday evening feeling quite well and was found dead when called by the family Monday morning.
