David Asbury STULL, sixth child of John and Jennie STULL, born near Salem, Guernsey Co., Ohio, Feb. 1, 1842, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. R. S. GOULD near Birmingham, 82 (sic) years old.
When he was 10 years old came with his parents to Van Buren County, Iowa, locating on a farm near Bentonsport. Grew to manhood there and married Miss Mary Jane FORBES Mar. 8, 1864.
Eight children: J. F. STULL of Batavia; Mrs. Sadie STEWART of Eldon, Mrs. Jennie CREATH of Agency, W. T. STULL of Ottumwa, Mrs. Mattie ARMSTRONG of Sterling, J. H. STULL of Birmingham, Mrs. Arminta GOULD and Mrs. Anna WATTS also of Birmingham; a sister Mrs. Margaret JACKSON who is now past 93 years old; 23 grandchildren; 3 grgrchn..... Batavia Cemetery.
