BATAVIA. Fred C. MORRISON, 82, died at the Van Buren Memorial Hospital in Keosaqua today. Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon; Rev. Kermit Black; bur. Batavia.

Born May 31, 1887, in Batavia, son of Geroge B. and Leota WIDGER MORRISON; lived in the Batavia community most of his life. Married Ethel EVANS Aug. 29, 1917; she died in 1958.

For the past two years he had made his home with a niece, Miss Letha PLOWMAN of Keokuk and Stockport. Engaged in the trucking business for many years and farmed west of Batavia. The other two nieces survive: Mrs. Lloyd POLSON of Douds and Mrs. Frank RYSDAM of Bloomfield.
