Bertha Walker Morrison, 89, of 2401 W. Southern Avenue, Tempe, Arizona died Sunday, June 20, 1982, at St. Luke's Hospital, Tempe, after a brief illness.
Born on December 4, 1892, in Keosauqua, Iowa, she was the daughter of Peter E. and Olietta McCullough Walker. She was married on December 24, 1914 to Ray E. Morrison and in 1921 the family moved from Keosauqua to Douglas, Wyoming, where they lived for many years. Mr. Morrison preceded her in death in April 1957, at Cheyenne, Wyoming. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her youngest son. D. E. (Ed) Morrison in May, 1974, at Cheyenne, Wyoming.
In May, 1961 she married Bert Morrison and lived at Libertyville, Iowa, until Mr. Morrison's death in November 1968. She is survived by her sons, Walker Morrison, Tempe, Arizona and Robert A. Morrison, Carson City, Nevada; daughters, Maude M. Shelton, Berthoud, Colorado, and Donna R. Agee, Broomfield, Colorado; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial serevice will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Cheyenne, Wyoming, at an early date.
