CURTIS W. McINTOSH
Curtis Wiley McIntosh, 84, of rural Keosauqua died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 in the Holden Nursing Home in Keosauqua where he had been for 12 days.
He was born August 9, 1887 near Keosauqua, the son of John W. and Lizzie Wiley McIntosh. He married Amanda Lineaweaver March 15, 1910 near Keosauqua.
Mr. McIntosh was a retired farmer and a member of the Center Chapel United Methodist Church where a memorial fund has been established. He was a 50-year member of the Bonaparte Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Evans of Terrell, Tex.; a son, John C. of rural Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Clara; three brothers, Harry, Floyd and Arthur.
The funeral was held at Center Chapel United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Friday, July 21, with the Rev. James M. Ford officiating. Burial was in Wolfe Cemetery. Catcott Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
