Dr. J.M. Randall, who died at the home of a daughter Mrs. Thomas Wells, last Sunday evening, was brought here for burial Tuesday and the G.A.R. had charge of the services at the grave. The Post met the funeral party at the train and the body was taken to the cemetery immediately. He was a pioneer physician of Van Buren county, a veteran of the Civil war, and was born near Bernadotte, Illinois, August 31, 1842. J.A. Randall of New London is a son. We shall have a fine account of Dr. Randall's life in the next weeks' issue.
