Robert E. Ferguson, 67, of Memphis, Mo., died at 11:45 p.m. March 10, 1992, at Scotland County Nursing Home in Memphis.
He was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Scotland County, Mo., to Arthur and Bessie Rugh
Ferguson. He married Irene Stott in 1942.He had attended Cantril schools and was a farmer until 1973 when he became manager of Missouri Farmers Association in Memphis until retiring in 1983. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Memphis and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Ronald of Glendale, Ariz.; two daughters, Rovene Parrish of Mexico, Mo., and Roberta Anderson of Downing, Mo.; seven grandchildren; a brother, Dean of Memphis; and a sister, Velma Rude of Memphis.
The service was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, 1992 at Memphis United Methodist Church. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery in Scotland County.
Memorials may be made to Parkinson's Foundation, his church and Prairie View Cemetery.
Payne-Gerth Funeral Home in Memphis was in charge of arrangements.
