Glow Pickens

Services for Glow Vina Brooks Pickens, 87, of Mesa was held Saturday March 14, 1992 at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way in Mesa, Arizona. She died Wednesday March 11, 1992 in Mesa.

Ms. Pickens was born in Van Buren County, Iowa, and moved to Arizona in 1937 from Douds, Iowa. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Women's World War I Auxiliary in Mesa and the Relief Society, and she worked at Mesa High School.

Survivors include her sons, Walter of Mesa and Edward of Franktown, Colo.; daughter Edith Jackson of Kingsburg, Calif.; sister Freida Lagle of Eldon, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Viola Pickens and Betty Todd.

Bunker's Garden Chapel handled the arrangements.
