Graveside services for I.E. Pickens, 95, of Mesa will be 10 a.m. Friday at Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St., Mesa Arizona. he died Monday, Dec. 23, 1992, in Mesa.

Burial was in Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N. Center Street, Mesa.

Mr. Pickens was born in Van Buren County, Iowa, and moved to Arizona in 1937. He was a carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I, was a member of the Mormon Church. He was a high priest in Mesa North Stake.

Survivors include his wife, Glow; sons Edward of Colorado and Walter of Mesa, daughter Edith Jackson of California, 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Viola Pickens and Betty Todd.

Bunker's Garden Chapel, Mesa, Arizona was in charge of arrangements.
