Wayne L. Schleeter

Wayne L. Schleeter, son of John H. and Garnet Towne Schleeter was born 21, 1939, at Moline Public Hospital in Moline, Ill and died unexpectedly Sat., Oct. 10, 1992, at 5:30 p.m. in his home in Columbia, Mo. Cause of death was due to a massive hear(heart) attack. He had no previous attacks. He was 53.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for GTE Telephone Company in Columbia for 27 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and a Union member.

He is survived by his father and mother; a daughter, Melissa Schleeter; 2 sons, Shawn, Columbia; David, one grandson, Seth Glen all of Columbia; a brother, Caroll Schleeter, Columbia, a sister, Brenda Winn, Memphis, Mo, several nieces and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 1992, with Rev. John Foley, officiating. Interment was in memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, Mo.
