Loren D. Pedrick

Loren D. Pedrick, son of Harry C. and Annie E. Pedrick, was born July 6, 1902 in Ottumwa and departed this life Sunday, January 26, 1992 at his home in Phoenix, Arizona.

He married Pauline Camblin July 10, 1923 in Douds. She died Sept. 10, 1981.

He graduated from Douds High School and was a partner in H.C. Pedrick & Sons Hardware and Furniture Store and Funeral Home in Douds from 1924 until 1937 when he moved to Phoenix.

He was manager of Farmers Lumber & Supply in Phoenix, a member of Kiwanis and a Boy Scout Leader. He was the recipient of the Silver Beaver, scouting's highest award for an adult leader.

He was a Past President of Pacific Southwest Retail Hardware Association.

Surviving are a son, Ben and his wife, Jean, of Granada Hills, CA., nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence and a sister, Madelyn Jacobson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 1, 1992 at 2 p.m. at A.L. Moore & Sons Funeral Home, Phoenix, with burial in Phoenix.
