Howard DAVIS, born Hoskinville, Ohio 5/20/1842. To Washington Co., IA when quite young -- thence to Scotland Co., MO for several years. Back to IA to Mt. Sterling in November 1874. Married Elizabeth STEWART in Scotland Co., MO 8/17/1862. 7 children - 3 boys - 4 girls, the oldest boy died infancy. The girls are all in Mt. Sterling, Clarence in Bonapart and Nathaniel in State Washington. Died at Longmont, Colorado 5/24/1905.
