Reuben HUNTER, b. in Vermont in 1809. Two years later moved with parents to Morgon Co., Ohio and in 1829 married Miss Sarah REED. To Iowa 1854 and settled Village Twp. Later to Libertyville, Jefferson Co. About 12 years ago went to live with dau., Mrs. W. H. SULLIVAN at Libertyville where cel-in Geb 1899 their 70th marriage anniversary and in Feb. 1902 their 73 wedding anniver. Three mos 1 later Mrs. Hunter died leav. Husband with whom lived with 73 1/4 years. Mr. Hunter at age 96 still living in good health.
