Donald Hoaglin

Donald Dean Hoaglin, 61, of Coralville, formerly of Hillsboro, died at 1:21 p.m. Monday, August 19, 1991 at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Born January 11, 1930 in Mount Pleasant, he was the son of John Clyde and Beulah Douglas Hoaglin. He married Reva Johnson on February 25, 1951 in Kahoka, Missouri.

He had been a farmer in the Hillsboro community before he retired. He moved to Coralville in 1987.

Surviving area his wife; three sons, Darrell Hoaglin and Jeff Hoaglin, both of Hillsboro, and Robert Hoaglin of Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Sheri Maulson of Coralville; one brother, Clifford Hoaglin of Oregon, and 12 grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Hoaglin were held August 22 at the Hillsboro Baptist Church with the Reverend Ed Newman officiating. Burial was in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the children's Sunday School of the Hillsboro Baptist Church.
