Genevieve Goodman

Genevieve Goodman, 73, rural Donnellson, died at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 1989 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

Mrs. Goodman was born April 5, 1916 in Lee County. She spent her entire life in the Farmington area. She was a retired employee of the State Central Bank of Farmington. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Farmington Historical Society, and the secretary-treasurer of the Alumni Association of Farmington.

She was married to William Goodman, who died in 1952.

She is survived by one sister, Loretta Hartrick, Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents, Joseph and Georgianna Weishar O'Brien; one brother and one sister.

Services were held Saturday, June 17, 1989 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Farmington with Father Paul Connolly officiating. Burial was in Sharon Cemetery, Farmington.

A memorial has been established to the St. Boniface Church building fund.

Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, was in charge of arrangements.
