Olga Keck

Olga Keck, 89, former Bonaparte resident, died at 6 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 1988, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

The service was at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 1988 at Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington. Burial was in Dibble Cemetery.

Mrs. Keck was born July 2, 1898, at Bonaparte, the daughter of William and Ella Mitchell. She married William Rex Keck Oct. 11, 1922, at Fairfield. She had worked for the Fairfield Glove Factory at Bonaparte for 30 years and was a member of Bonaparte Presbyterian Church.

She resided at Country Lane Apartments in Keosauqua before moving to Fairfield to live with her daughter.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou Pfeifer of Fairfield with whom she had made her home the last 1 1/2 years, a step-daughter, Mildred Richards of Ft. Madison; two grandchildren, Michael Pfeifer and Julia Bradfield, Fairfield; two great granddaughters, Amy and Angela Bradfield; 5 step-grandchildren and a sister Hazel Goben of Centerville.
