John H. McCarty

Mr. John H. McCarty of San Francisco, California, but for a few years has been in nursing home in Hayward, Calif. where he passed away on June 5, 1988 at the age of 91 years, 5 months, 5 days.

He was the son of Mike and Mae McCarty of Mt. Zion, Iowa. His wife and 8 brothers and sisters preceded him in death, leaving his only son Eula known as (Duke) and wife Norma, three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Also surviving are a niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Gordon of Hayward, Calif., a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis McCarty of San Mateo, Calif., a sister, Bertha Humphrey in nursing home at Keosauqua, Iowa and a brother Francis McCarty, known as (Bill) at Burlington, Iowa, a sister (Florence), Mrs. Ben E. Behrends of Ackley, Iowa, other relatives and friends.

Services were held in San Francisco, Calif.
