ISABEL LOEFFLER

Isabel Loeffler, daughter of Ben and Salome Maxwell Ewing, was born January 19, 1911 in Van Buren County and departed this life the evening of Monday, May 19, 1986 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Oosthoek in Fairfield where she had been residing, at the age of 75.

She graduated from Keosauqua High School, attended Muscatine Junior College and had taught in rural Van Buren County schools.

On April 20, 1932 she married Elza Loeffler in Lancaster, Missouri. Most of their married life was spent in the Birmingham area. Mr. Loeffler died in 1976. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Max Ewing.

Survivors are two daughter, Norma Ramsey of Keosauqua and Janet Smith of Birmingham; a son, Gary of Birmingham; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Isable was a member of the Zion Bible Church near Douds.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 22, 1986 at 10 a.m. at the Zion Bible Church on Highway 16 near Douds with Pasto Walter Shuka officiating. The family will be at
