OSKALOOSA - James Vincent Eddy, 67, of Oskaloosa died May 17, 1986, at Mahaska Manor.
He was born Aug. 2, 1918, in Milan, Mo., to William Franklin Eddy and Ada Schatto Eddy. He married Anna Chambers on Aug. 2, 1949, in Rock Springs, Ark. She died on Dec. 8, 1982, in Oskaloosa. He was a retired meatcutter for John Morrell.
He is survived by a son, Samuel Ray Eddy McNish of Minneapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Hemm of Birmingham, Iowa, and Mrs. Molly Cummings of Milan, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Powers Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, with Rev. Max Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery near Bussey.
