Ruth I. Ritz, 72, of 19 Schwartz Drive died at 8:24 p.m. April 8, 1986, at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was born March 7, 1914, in Davis County, to Jesse and Verena Glattfelder McNabb. A resident of Ottumwa since 1945, she was a member of Davis Street Christian Church. She married Paul D. Ritz on Dec. 22, 1933, in Bloomfield.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Helen Kyhl of Seabrook, Texas; two grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Ritz; and a brother, Kenneth McNabb of Milton.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. Firday at the Davis Street Christian Church, the Rev. Cecil I. Simonton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
The family will be at Reece Funeral Home from7-8:30 p.m. today.
A memorial has been established to Davis Street Christian Church.
