Richard Christy, 53, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 1986 at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport.
He was born May 25, 1932 in Bloomfield to Orville "Buster" and Alma Baker Christy.
He married Alberta Casady June 27, 1959 at Ft. Madison. She survives him.
He was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church.
Other survivors include one daughter, Teresa Norveisas, Davenport; one granddaughter; three sisters, Helen Zuehlke, Davenport, Hazel Wheaton, Kansas City, Marjorie Miles, Bettendorf; one brother, Harlan Christy of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Services were held Monday at the McGinnis Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospital, Davenport or American Heart Association.
