Bette M. Bollin, 60, of Route 3, Middle Road, died at 3:27 p.m. Monday, March 31, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

She was born Nov. 13, 1925 in Kewanee, Ill., the daughter of Henry and Marie Adams Weirather. She married Max E. Bollin on June 21, 1947 in Keokuk, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 5, 1985.

She had been a lifelong resident of Keokuk and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.

Survivors include daughters Mary Beth Frakes of Farmington, Mary Joan Seaver of rural Nauvoo, Mary K. Bollin of Route 3, Keokuk and Mary Rose Loth of Walnut Creek, Cali.; sons Michael A. of Route 2, Keokuk, Nathan of Route 3, Keokuk and Matthew of Keokuk; brother Robert Burke of Denmark, Iowa; sister Beverly Youngdren of Buda, Ill.; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at noon Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church with the Rev. Tim Bernemann officiating. Burial will be in the Keokuk National Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at DeJong Funeral Home with the family meeting friends from 7-9 p.m. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m.
