ELSIE M. ALDRICH

Elsie Marie Aldrich, 80, died at 3:25 p.m. Feb. 24 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

The daughter of John Frederick and Mary Elizabeth Knoll, was born Nov. 13, 1905 near Waukee, Iowa.

She graduated from Waukee High School and State Teacher's College at Cedar Falls, Iowa.

On May 25, 1928 she married George Aldrich in his parents home near Waukee. Mr. Aldrich died Jan. 4, 1985.

She was an officer in Keosauqua Motor Company and was engaged in the business for many years. She was a member of the Keosauqua United Methodist Church and the UMW, a past member of Lynds Chapter OES Keosauqua, Keosauqua PEO, Chapter 1 and Keosauqua Mother's Club.

Services will be Friday, Feb. 28, 1986 at 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Morrison officiating. Interment in Purdom Cemetery. Arrangements in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. Memorial contributions to the Keosauqua Senior Citizen Centger(err) or Van Buren County Ambulance Service may be left at the Funeral Home. Visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
