Norma Westhoff

Norma Euleta Westhoff, age 63, of rural Memphis was born April 23, 1922 near Arbela, Mo. in rural Scotland County, and died Jan. 10, 1986 at University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, Mo. after a short illness.

Norma was the daughter of Leos and Leah Crowder Biggs.

On Sept. 22, 1940 she was united in marriage to Paul W. Westhoff in her parents home. The couple had two sons born: Larry Max of Florissant, Mo. and Earl William of Cantril.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Westhoff, of Memphis, Mo., two sons, Larry Westhoff and wife, Connie, of Florissant, Mo., Earl Westhoff and wife, Peggy, of Cantril, two grandsons, Scott Westoff of Memphis, Stacy westhoff of Cantril; two granddaughters, Amy and Laura Westhoff of Florrissant, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Carroll.

Norma received her grade school education in the rural school education in the rural school system of Scotland County and graduated from Memphis High School in 1940.

She was very active in the community and enjoyed handy crafts, traveling and helping others.

Services for Norma Westhoff were held Monday, Jan. 13, from the First Christian Church, Memphis. Rev. Kenneth Campbell and Rev. Ernest Deatrick officiated. The music was furnished by Ann Luther and Harlo Donelson. Burial was in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, Mo. Arrangements by the Payne-Gerth Funeral Chapel, Memphis, Mo.
