MARY MARGARET SALTZGAVER

Mrs. Mary Margaret Saltzgaver, 72, of Keokuk, died Thursday, March 6, 1986 at 9:40 p.m. in the Keokuk Area Hospital.

Mrs. Saltzgaver was born July 19, 1913 in Farmington, Iowa, the daughter of Robert W. Woods and Mary Leona Lowery Woods.

She was a 1931 graduate of Farmington High School and married Otto H. (Jack) Saltzgaver December 8, 1931 in Carthage, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1978.

Mrs. Saltzgaver was employed for 32 years in Keokuk by Richard G. Bowers and Associates and the New York Life Insurance Co.

She was a Red Cross volunteer during World War II and was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club.

Surviving are one son, John W. Saltzgaver of Tampa, Florida; one daughter, Linda Ann Patton of Keokuk; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Francis L. Woods of Farmington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and one brother.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 10 in the DeJong Funeral Home, Keokuk by Rev. Dale Oliver. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials may be made to the (???)
