LIBERTYVILLE - W. Dwane Giberson, 64, of Libertyville, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, 1995, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville, with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery northeast of Stockport. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to Faith United Methodist Church and Jefferson County Hospice.

Giberson was born March 5, 1931, in Jefferson County, the son of George H. and Velma M. Runyon Giberson. A resident of Jefferson County for most of his life, he graduated from Stockport High School in 1948. On July 15, 1950, he married V. Lucille Pencil in Fairfield. He worked for ACCO Chain and Lifting Products Division for 45 1/2 years. He was a past president of Fairfield Square Dance Club and a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Cathy Giberson of Libertyville; his mother of Stockport; two brothers, Dwight of Hillsboro, Dwynlin "Bud" of Keosauqua; four sisters, Rama Swailes of Mount Pleasant, Marylin Shelledy, Karen Stark, both of Stockport, and Kay Bailey of Salem. His father and a sister, Coleen Cochran, preceded him in death.
