W. Danielson rites Thursday

Services for William Clifford Danielson,74, Route 2, who died early Monday at Ottumwa Regional Health Center, Ottumwa, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Connor officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the new Birmingham Presbyterian Church and the Libertyville Community Center.

Danilson was born Feb. 23, 1912 in Jefferson County, the son of J. Irwin and Jessie Johnston Danielson. He married Martha Barker April 18, 1937 in Birmingham. A lifetime resident of Jefferson County, he had been a farmer and self-employed livestock trucker until retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Birmingham Presbyterian Church and Odd Fellows.

Surviving are his wife; step-mother, Era Danielson of Fairfield; three daughters, Jessie Hanna, Linda Dougherty, both of Libertyville, Carolyn Ellingson of Roland; three sons, Robert of Libertyville, John of Fairfield, Carl of Buffalo, Wyo.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
