Delphia Sexton

Delphia Irene Sexton, 70, died at 4:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at her home near Bonaparte.

She was born Sept. 18, 1916, at Cherry Box, Mo., to Glen and Ida Doughty Daniels, She married Claude D. Sexton on July 13, 1935, in Rock Island, Ill.

She was a 40-year resident of Bonaparte and a member of the Bonaparte Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Thomas Sexton of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Claudelle Jenkins of Santee, Calif., and Cynthia Hines of Crown Point, Ind.; a sister, Dean Nelson of San Diego; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friend 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with Bob Dodds officiating. Burial will be in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
