Zula Fern Pollock, 90, a resident of the Good Samaritan Center died there at 8:10 a.m. Aug. 1986.
She was born Oct. 24, 1895, near Douds to John and Margaret Black Hull. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married George Ray Pollock on Sept. 3, 1914, in Keosauqua. He died Sept. 30, 1968.
She is survived by a son, Clarence of Ottumwa; two daughters, Fern Bradley of Ottumwa and Ellen Ann Fackler of Louisville, Ky.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Goldie Nichols of Davenport.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home, the Rev. David Bevington of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Family visitation is 7-8 p.m. today.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
