LA HARPE - Gertrude J. Gieseker, 91, Terre Haute, Ill., died at 12:43 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Burlington Medical Center.
Mrs. Gieseker was born July 8, 1895, at Milton, Iowa, and was a longtime Terre Haute resident. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the LaHarpe American Legion Auxiliary.
On Nov. 10, 1956, at Monmouth, she was married to Herman Geiseker, who preceded her in death on March 30, 1976.
Her only survivors are a nephew and niece.
She was preceded in death by two brothers. Her parents were Samuel and Minnie Allen Morgan.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Terre Haute cemetery. The Rev. Brad Brault will officiate.
The body is at the Banks and Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe where friends may call after noon Friday and where family will meet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
