ALIX HELOISE LECK

Alix Heloise Leck, daughter of Reverend George and Jean McDonald Leck, was born September 14, 1894 in Nova Scotia, Canada, and departed this life the afternoon of Monday, May 27, 1985 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua where she had resided the past several years.

She was a research biologist in Boston, Massachusetts for many years, and was the sister of the late Bert M. Leck, former publisher of the Van Buren County Register. A sister, Nina Hill, also preceded her in death.

Surviving are a brother, D'Arcy Leck, Minneapolis, Minnesota and his wife, and Camille Leck, a sister-in-law of the Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua.

She was a Presbyterian.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 29, 198t(err) at 11 a.m. in Fellows Cemetery, Keosauqua, with Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements.
