STOCKPORT - Gladys Morris McKee, 79, of Stockport died at 6:15 a.m. Dec. 19, 1985, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born Aug. 6, 1906, near Stockport to H. Jay and Etta Veatch Morris. She married Fenton F. McKee on March 29, 1930. She was a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church and a charter member of the WSCS and United Methodist Women. She was a rural school teacher for many years in Jefferson and Van Buren counties; she also was a member of the Laf-A-Lot Club in Stockport.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Darlenen Watson and Annette Davis, both of Stockport; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joy Gardner of Monmouth, Ill. and Birdena Klise of Stockport.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stockport United Methodist Chruch(sp), the Revs Duane Olsen and Robert Butt officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery north of Stockport.

Friends may call at the Behner Funeral Home starting at noon today.

Memorials may go to her church or to the First Responders in Stockport.
