CORA M. ORMAN

Cora M. Orman, daughter of Joseph and Georgianna Runyon Wilson, was born April 30, 1892 in Centerville and departed this life Friday, November 8, 1985 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua at the age of 93.

She grew up in Davis and Wapello counties. On February 22, 1913 she married Jonathan Orman in Ottumwa. They lived in the Ottumwa area until 1932 when they moved to Davis County. Mr. Orman died in 1957. She worked several years caring for elderly people in their homes and retired to Bentonsport.

Surviving are two daughters, Margie Downing, Bentonsport and Lillian Dullard, Ottumwa; a son, Joseph, Burlington; seven grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

An infant daughter, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Graveside services were held Sunday, November 10, 1985 at 2 p.m. in McIntire Cemetery south of Ottumwa, with David Callen of Fairfield officiating. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua was in charge of arrangements.
