Max Ford

FAIRFIELD - Max J. Ford, 63, of Fairfield Route 3, died at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 28, 1985, at the Jefferson County Hospital.

He was born oct. 31, 1921 in Ottumwa to Clarence R. and Roxianna Kellogg Ford. He was reared and educated in the Birmingham area. He was a World War II Air Force Veteran. He returned to the Fairfield and Birmingham following his dicharge(err) and was employed at the Dexter Company, and Rockwell International in Fairfield, and was plant manager at the Van Buren Manufacturing Company in Keosauqua. He married Eva M. Boyle on May 3, 1942 in Memphis, Mo.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Anne Boysen of Moringin(err) Sun, and Linda Williams of Birmingham; three sons, Jim and Tom of Fairfield, and Max Jr. of Fort Meyers, Fla. and 10 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, the Rev. Walter Shuka officiating.

Friends may call at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield after 12 noon today.

Memorials have been established to the Birmingham, Fairfield or Keosauqua libraries, and to the Heart and Cancer Fund.
