Minnie Winsell

DOUDS - Minnie Burnice Winsell, 77, died July 23, 1985, at the Good Samaritan Home in Keosauqua.

She was born July 27, 1907, in Wapello County to Daniel and Theresa McBeth Goehring. She married Paul Lloyd Winsell on June 22, 1935, in Ottumwa. She was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge at Selma.

She is survived by her husband; five daughters, Wilma E. Davis of Des Moines, Lila M. Wells of Douds, Doris I. Fletcher of Missouri City, Texas, Phyllis L. Connelly of Solon and Mirriam B. Arnold of Oelwein; a son, William E. of Ottumwa; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Luella Allman of Sigourney and Lila Peebler of Batavia; and a brother, Clifford Goehring of Fairfield.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lebanon United Methodist Church, the Revs. Chris Daniels and Carroll Brown officiating. Burial will be at Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds, with services by her Rebekah Lodge.

Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today at Campbell Funeral home in Eldon.
